But, one of the things we've been enjoying that I did manage to get a few captures of is our new American history study, Living History of Our World, by Angela O'Dell. Picked it up at the convention last week, and the girls wanted to jump in right away. On a Saturday! Crazy, right?
We decided to bring what we read about to life by (attempting) to make some Native American dwellings and weapons. It took most of the day, but that's what I love about learning on the weekend - no pressure to fit in every subject. Everyday should be like that, really. But then, math and writing would probably cease to exist in our family's education, so I guess there does have to be some balance. I guess.

Also have been enjoying the Spring weather and color show. Or I was enjoying it, before the tree pollen invasion. Here are my last few close ups of outside views before I retreated indoors for the month....

Happy Spring, everyone!
And Happy late St. Patty's Day!
